The Maritime Scientific Society Association is a legal entity and voluntary association of legal and natural persons, established on July 27, 2023, in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Non-Profit Legal Entities, its Statute, and the decision of the founding assembly.

The Marine Science Society Association has 12 (twelve) organizations as full members of its General Assembly, including 1 (one) foundation, 4 (four) institutes, and 7 (seven) universities; additionally, 4 scientific organizations are in the process of acquiring membership.
